Objective

SIMPATICO’s goal is to improve the experience of citizens and companies in their daily interactions with the public administration by providing a personalized delivery of e-services based on advanced cognitive system technologies.

Approach

The goal will be achieved through a solution based on the interplay of language processing, machine learning and the wisdom of the crowd (represented by citizens, business organizations and civil servants) to change for the better the way citizens interact with the PA.

Pilots

TRENTO (IT): Procedures in several areas (childcare, private building, environment) with a full integration with the “one-stop shop” solution for interactive online services already adopted

GALICIA (SP): Multi language social e-services improvement.

SHEFFIELD (UK): Interaction with migrants.

By integrating language processing, machine learning and human computation SIMPATICO can deliver personalized services that are much more understandable, effcient and effective, thus increasing business competitiveness and citizen inclusion.

In modern European societies, the different administrations are a key element for a sustainable economic growth. In particular, the current economic situation has forced administrations to take a very active role in promoting innovation at every level of society and economy, since innovation is recognized as the main source of economic growth.

SIMPATICO proposes three main effectiviness indicators to validate its results in the long term:
